ToolsForYouth started with a strong belief that empowering children with a strong education was the key to helping them realize their full potential and bring about a positive change in society. Unfortunately, there are many families who cannot afford the basic tools of education like books, pencils, and backpacks needed for a student to learn and thrive. This is where we step in to help. ToolsForYouth collects and distributes educational resources to students to help them grow as an individual. We hope that with our effort and our community support we will all be able to create a level playing field for all our future scholars.
However, we realize that helping kids along their path of education is more than just education. A child needs upliftment in all aspects of life to truly focus on his or her education. Without a positive outlook or the tools to succeed both inside and outside school, students in need will continue to struggle.
In many underserved communities, it is hard for students to gain access to these tools. This is where we step in to help. Understanding that we need to play a part in fostering a child’s overall development, we aim to provide support for these children in everything from toys, food, dental supplies, school supplies, books, and even vital skills training like public speaking to gain confidence. It is important that we play our part in affirming each and every student’s value.
